Zipang Lunch

We love Zipang sushi. I covet the art on the walls--witty contemporary takes on traditional Japanese prints.Agadashi tofu--we could each order our own bowl of this.
Nutty, spicy burdock root.
I love the way these cups feel in my hands and the fact that they don't serve their food on cheap plastic dishes.
The Ebi Chili roll is our absolute favorite.
Chicken Karage for the boy.
They use pickled ginger that hasn't been dyed pink and they've started adding sculptural elements to the plates. I also love the wacked out avant guarde jazz that they play and the mnimalist 70's rec room lighting. It's our favorite Sunday lunch. The black sesame ice cream they serve is excellent.
