A Lesson in Whole Foods

A ripe salmonberry from the woods around the farm.

The students took turns grinding wheat into flour.

The students made beautiful salads from their gardens, and two kinds of salad dressing.


Everyone rolled out a home-made bun.

These are rolled oats compared to quick oats.

These are groats (whole oats) and steel-cut oats.
